Jan. 31st, 2010 10:16 pmWho: Amy, Chase, Josi-boy, Song
What: Ambush!
When: February 1st
Where: Rainbow's End
Status: Complete
Warning: BEWARE, SMUT. ...Maybe. >_>
Amy laughed softly as she checked on her sleeping son one more time before slipping out of the nursery and past Song's room. Her friend was absorbed in a book, and would hopefully remain that way until she'd gotten herself back up here. Chase had made herself scarce, but handy, which was easy enough to do in this house. A cackle escaped her as she practically bounced down the stairs. Poor Josi, he wouldn't know what hit him. Hell, neither would Song. Well, at first, anyway.
Amy hurried outside and over to where she'd left Jalen earlier, beneath Song's windows. He had orders to be inconspicuous, but wasn't doing a good job of it. She found him lying on his back staring up at Song's room with a scowl on his face. That wasn't going to work. She knelt next to him, lowering her voice.
"Oh come on, you can't do it that way! It's too easy to figure out you're here for a reason!"
Jalen sat up and brushed himself off. "What do you want me to do then? Pick flowers?"
"Why not?"
Her husband groaned and flopped back onto the grass. "It's still meddling. So what if they want to escape down a bed sheet?"
"But you said you'd do this for me...Okay, after I bribed you and pleaded, but Jale..." She started to pout.
"All right, I'll do something else, but you'd better get inside before you give everything away."
With a happy squeal, Amy jumped up and darted back into the house, parking herself close to the front door so she wouldn't miss Josi when he arrived.

Date: 2010-02-02 02:07 am (UTC)He glanced at Song out of the corner of his eye, sensing something upsetting in her soul. For a moment, he wasn't going to mention it and pass it off as irritation at their current predicament, but the more he thought about, the more he realized it was something more than that.
"Song...?"

Date: 2010-02-02 02:15 am (UTC)The way he said her name had made her smile fade and her brow furrow for a moment, though she quickly smoothed her expression into something more neutral.
She regretted her thoughts of a moment ago, and hoped it wasn't the reason for his change of tone. She'd be guilty of killing his laughter then, and she didn't want to be that selfish.

Date: 2010-02-02 02:32 am (UTC)Still, he couldn't help but smile as he rested his forehead against hers. "Exactly how do we get ourselves into these situations again?"
no subject
Date: 2010-02-02 02:39 am (UTC)"It's either skill or luck. Probably both," she replied quietly. "The real question is how do we get out of these situations. There's still option number two, but I'll leave this one up to you."

Date: 2010-02-02 02:47 am (UTC)"We make getting into trouble an art," he said with a laugh. "I'm all for the dark corridor option, but I'm willing to hear other options that won't have has glared at by the other Refs."

Date: 2010-02-02 02:56 am (UTC)Finally she drew away, once more schooling her expression into the unreadable mask she'd mastered back during her Nobody days (which seemed so long ago now).
She stood and went to examine the door herself.
"Well, if you are going to go out this way, I'd do it now, before they come back to check on us."

Date: 2010-02-02 03:07 am (UTC)The problem was, he didn't really want to leave.
"You know I can't do that," he murmured, a teasing note in his voice. "It would break the universe and besides..." he shrugged slightly, "you didn't tell me your option two."

Date: 2010-02-02 03:22 am (UTC)The very small part of her mind that wasn't absolutely absorbed in his warmth and his voice was once again scoffing at the way her heart leapt. That little part of her, though, was very easily ignored.
"Option number two," she laughed, "is that we give the matchmakers what they want."

Date: 2010-02-02 03:38 am (UTC)"I like option number two better," he replied, grinning.

Date: 2010-02-02 03:47 am (UTC)She realized, just for a moment, what it had been, really. Song's greatest fear, as he already knew, was to be forgotten. Her second greatest, however, was to miss a chance. Perhaps that was why her otherwise stoic and quiet demeanor changed so drastically when something she desired or cared for was at stake.
She mirrored the kiss, quick and light.
"I was hoping you'd say that."

Date: 2010-02-02 04:02 am (UTC)Ah, to hell with it.
"Well, at least we're agreed." He lowered his hands to Song's waist, pulling her closer and kissing her again, more urgently and passionately than before.

Date: 2010-02-02 04:17 am (UTC)She'd just have to be good and refrain from making any cruel jokes about French kissing later.
Unless he commented on how she'd learned too much from the succubus....
because now she was pulling away for air, her lips parted and her eyes half-lidded, and when she kissed him again it was on the side of his neck, her hand snaking up to weave through his hair.

Date: 2010-02-02 04:39 am (UTC)Which, everything considering, was all well and good.
When she broke the kiss for air, he took the opportunity to kiss her right temple, one hand absently brushing through her hair while the other pressed into the small of her back, keeping her as close as possible. There was something almost electric about his touch, not that he noticed it himself.

Date: 2010-02-02 04:58 am (UTC)It was probably a good thing that Josiah had just about given up on thought, because Song was still over-thinking. She hadn't exactly done this seduction thing before. Previous encounters of the sort had been carried out for reasons other than love, and had therefore been much more intentional and less... natural.
She was thus at something of a loss for how to proceed. Or rather, when to proceed. She could keep kissing him all night, or she could drag him straight to the bed and tear of his clothes (which was a rather hilarious mental image, actually), but something in between would be much preferable. She just didn't know where the right spot in that large in-between space was.
Over-thinking and over-planning, as usual.

Date: 2010-02-02 05:17 am (UTC)He paused to see if he could identify it, and a smile slowly crept on his face as he was able to place the notes, although the lyrics were new. He glanced down at Song, a thoughtful look on his face before he just shook his head with a laugh. He kissed her again fiercely and began slowly pulling her back to the bedroom.
Yeah. Never hearing the end of it.

Date: 2010-02-02 05:29 am (UTC)She let herself be led into the bedroom, and from there it was only natural to sit down on the bed so that they didn't have to focus on standing up anymore.
More concentration for kisses was a good thing.
And then there was the splaying of her hands over Josiah's chest and pushing him gently down so she could kiss him from above. That part she'd been looking forward to for quite a while.

Date: 2010-02-02 05:53 am (UTC)For a second, she was worried about Calum and the First Darkness. Then she remembered - though she'd never actually forgotten - he was half incubus. She was seducing a sex demon.
Well, she could deal with that. She knew he wouldn't hurt her.
It was rather thrilling, really~
She gave a feline smile and slipped her hand under his shirt, tracing the pattern of muscles with a feathery touch.

Date: 2010-02-02 06:11 am (UTC)He wasn't aware that the traits he shared with Lilith were starting to appear, but even if he did, it wouldn't have stopped him. He didn't have near the powers that the demon did - Song would be safe.
But that didn't mean that spared her his mischievousness - he laughed quietly into the kiss before trailing kisses along her jaw and back to her mouth again.

Date: 2010-02-02 08:28 am (UTC)His shirt was becoming a hindrance. Her hunger for his kisses had been sated enough for now that she didn't have any reluctance about breaking away and shifting her balance so that she could remove the offending bit of clothing. With that out of the way, she began exploring the shadow of his collarbone with her mouth, bracing herself with a hand on his side.
She was beginning to feel an almost painful delight at just being here with him. It wasn't about the foreplay - though that was certainly delighting her in other ways... But it wasn't love, either. She knew what that felt like. And yes, that was present too, yet this other joy remained a mystery.
She was usually very good at solving mysteries, and she was trying, but her concentration was understandably elsewhere at the moment.

Date: 2010-02-02 08:06 pm (UTC)He waited until Song broke the kiss - and dammit, wasn't that distracting as all hell - before grabbing her gently and turning her, so that she was lying on her back instead. He glanced down at her and grinned, just slightly out of breath.
"I think your plan is working."

Date: 2010-02-02 08:18 pm (UTC)"Remind me to thank the evil matchmakers..."
She reached up to drape her arms around his shoulders, pulling him down into another kiss and arching her body up to press against his.

Date: 2010-02-02 08:53 pm (UTC)He returned the kiss readily enough with a sharp intake of breath at her movements, hands moving again to lift her shirt higher.

Date: 2010-02-02 09:05 pm (UTC)The action inadvertently helped him out with her shirt a bit, at that.
"Don't forget..." she murmured between playful nips and tiny kisses, "I'm a romantic too."

Date: 2010-02-02 09:25 pm (UTC)"How could I forget?" Her squirming helped out and after a few moments, he was able to get her out of her shirt. "I'm surprised you didn't have a say in this." He shook his head, amused. "They're learning way too much from you."
