Yuna fluttered back and forth in a worry. She was back near the maw, keeping an eye on the suddenly overpopulated maw. Watching for the most part, hoping that none would suddenly make a rush for the town. For the most part they had just been idly wandering closer every now and again but with each foot closer they got, the more nervous she became.

"Oooooh. I hope they come quick." She muttered to herself, wishing the others to come faster. They were coming closer again, and it wouldn't be long until they reached the Bailey.




(whoops. forgot to mention it earlier but Behemoths are open to any of these so have fun choosing which ones you're fighting. Please note not all of them are defeatable the same way, etc, etc. And all smaller other monsters are free for your own choosing. Have fun and PLEASE KEEP TAGGING. >:)

Sora was on his way.

He was tired from the Pride Lands deal, and he would rather have been synthing or talking to Merlin about the summon gem.

But Radiant Garden being in danger. The restoration in danger of being undone. He had to act.

So he ran, stocked with ethers and hi-potions. And he was not the least bit calmer than anyone else who had already shown up. That was a lot of monsters.

Kairi had only glanced at the message before swiftly collecting things she would need and dashing out of the door.

It didn't take long for her to reach the maw, her eyes widening at the sheer amounts of monsters. Noticing Sora, she made her way over quietly. "It's a lot isn't it. But we can do it, right Sora?"

Roxas had made sure he had some potions, ethers and now antidotes with him and the light mail shirt he'd commissioned. The Moogles had finished it awfully quick once he'd had all the materials. Which was good. he suspected he might need it. It was fitted so that his jacket covered it neatly, leaving the impression he hadn't bothered to get any armor at all. By the sound of things, this was going to be a nasty battle.

It looked just as bad when he arrived at the Maw. There Behemoths, sure, and many other monsters, some they'd seen already, some they hadn't. There were also multiple varieties of monsters. Just as he had seen two different types of Chimera the day before, he saw a few different kinds of Behemoth.

And there were Sora and Kairi. Perfect. This made things a little easier.

"Of course we can," he said, as he would to Riku or Ryune or any other able companion. Then he realized to whom he was speaking.

"K-KAIRI?"

She couldn't help but grin a bit, amused at his expression.
"Yes, that's my name." she said.

He tried to stay serious, but a little chuckle slipped by. He quickly covered it with a frown.

"You can't be here! Those things will rip you to pieces!"

The look on Sora's face was nothing short of priceless and Roxas couldn't help a small laugh.

"Don't be so sure about that, Sora," he said, "She didn't do all that bad on that monster hunt last week."

This only served to make him more flabbergasted.

"Monster hunt!?" Sora directed it more at Kairi than at Roxas. Then he saw the short sword at her hip.

"How good are you with that?"

Kairi almost made a face at his first comment before grinning at him bit more and nodded slightly. "Yeah. I went monster hunting with Roxas and the others."

Glancing down at the sword herself, she paused for a moment. "Pretty well now. I've gotten a lot better since we came back to Radiant Garden."

Okay. Okay.

Sora took a deep breath to steady himself. Then, letting the Keyblade fade, he reached for Kairi and Roxas's hands. He didn't care if Roxas was uncomfortable, he was getting his hand held. Sora's next words were spoken to the both of them, but he was sure Roxas would understand they were meant more for Kairi.

"Stay close. Don't be too reckless. This is a lot more dangerous than it looks."

She smiled gently, squeezing his hand slightly. "Alright."

If not for the current situation, Sora might have gotten a punch in the arm for the hand holding. And he did get that Sora was speaking more to Kairi about caution. She wasn't helpless, but she did need a little work on her skills.

Hopefully, there would be more help coming, but for now it didn't seem likely that they could wait.

"Are we done being mushy?" he asked, "It think we have some monsters to fight."

Sora grinned and nodded. Then, summoning his weapon again, he rushed ahead to aid the others in the fight.

Kairi nodded as well, drawing in a deep breath before unsheathing her sword. The second she exhaled, she burst forward, right behind him.

Roxas followed them, both Keyblades in hand as he set off. He a life to live, dammit, and people he did care about and like hell he was letting these monsters get in the way.

"Hey Sora! I'm keeping score!"
