Ring the Alarm

Who: Yuna and whoever shows up
What: Monsters are attacking D8
Where: The Great Maw
When: Feb 28
Status: Active

Yuna fluttered back and forth in a worry. She was back near the maw, keeping an eye on the suddenly overpopulated maw. Watching for the most part, hoping that none would suddenly make a rush for the town. For the most part they had just been idly wandering closer every now and again but with each foot closer they got, the more nervous she became.

"Oooooh. I hope they come quick." She muttered to herself, wishing the others to come faster. They were coming closer again, and it wouldn't be long until they reached the Bailey.

(whoops. forgot to mention it earlier but Behemoths are open to any of these so have fun choosing which ones you're fighting. Please note not all of them are defeatable the same way, etc, etc. And all smaller other monsters are free for your own choosing. Have fun and PLEASE KEEP TAGGING. >:)

Auria raced to the Maw, boots pounding the ground as she rounded to the Bailey. She leaped and glided to the ground, ignoring the now almost-completed staircase, and once again lengthened her stride to cover the remaining ground. Her hammer felt weightless in her right hand; she barely felt the gentle slap of the potions she had strapped around her chest.

The one thing she did feel was her bracelet, cold despite the hot blood pumping through her and heating her skin.

Her breath began to come ragged as she burst through the Fissure and leaped over the side of the Maw. As she glided over the soon-to-be battlefield, her heart turned to ice. Was it possible for so many Behemoths and other, similar creatures to be here at once?

Auria turned, arcing widely in her glide to catch Yuna. She shot the obviously anxious girl what should have been a reassuring grin, but turned more into a worried countenance mirroring poor Yuna's. Not very uplifting at all.

At last she hit the ground and ran fingers through her pulled-back hair. They were really in the soup now.

Sora was on his way.

He was tired from the Pride Lands deal, and he would rather have been synthing or talking to Merlin about the summon gem.

But Radiant Garden being in danger. The restoration in danger of being undone. He had to act.

So he ran, stocked with ethers and hi-potions. And he was not the least bit calmer than anyone else who had already shown up. That was a lot of monsters.

Aria checked her equipment before heading to the Maw at an unhurried pace. She was a little annoyed that some of the Happy Bunnies decided to follow her.

Arriving at the maw she hesitated and glanced at the bunnies before heading towards the battle, she could have sworn the things were looking at her as if she was crazy.

Luckily for Yuna, Aya was in town. The Dagda had docked a few days ago after Ryan decided it would be an idea to skip town in Ivalice. A few too many run-ins with what passed as 'cops' there had happened and given the poor weather, taking further chances would be a bad idea.

She came wearing heavier armor than usual due to weather but nonetheless moving no slower than normal. "ALRIGHT! LET'S DO THIS!" She shouted, summoning her Spine into her hand with a quick thrust of her palm. "Point me at 'em!"

Ash shut off the lamp by her desk, grabbing her guns and dashing out of the library to the maw. She spotted the group that was there almost immediately. She'd been a different person the last time she had seen most of the crew, but she imagined they would recognize her easily enough.

"I'm ready to go, guys!"
