It was perfect. It was Christmas morning and for one day there was peace throughout the universe.
There were presents to be open, feasts to be had and company to enjoy.

[mod note: so to keep this at least a little neat for viewing pleasure, there'll be separate threads for each world and if you want; location. And all comments would go under each of that. . A sample with Radiant Garden will be posted before you guys even start tagging Also~ we're gonna try something new! Action tags will be allowed for those who want to use 'em. Speaking of egg-based drinks, Sora had somehow finally managed to wheedle one from Tifa. Sure, she probably hadn't liked the idea of giving Sora anything with even the slightest traces of alcohol in it, but Sora had been insistent - he wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

So far, so good. He had to take off his mittens to handle the cup properly, and had settled for a straw for pure convenience. He decided about one sip in that he really, really, really liked eggnog and had continued on his way through the snow-covered streets of Radiant Garden.

Around five minutes later, he spotted a familiar figure walking through the ever growing snow drifts.

"Hey Ash!" he called, waving cheerfully.

Ash smiled and waved. "Sora! Wasn't quite expecting to see you! Enjoying the holiday season, are you then? I was sort of thinking of heading round Rainbow's End for a visit. I don't suppose you'd like to join me in picking a few gifts and such up for the journey? I made fudge for whoever shows up. Not the easiest task over a hotplate but I think I managed alright."

She fished a bit out of her purse and offered it to Sora. "taste tests are always allowed when it comes to sweeties.'

"Yup!" Sora beamed. "I really like the snow. I wish we had more of it back home."

He reached for the piece of fudge, balancing his cup of eggnog in his free hand before popping the chocolate in this mouth. It tasted good enough to him. "Yeah, I'll come with you! It should be fun!"

'Eggnog, then Sora? Ah, suppose you're old enough for the dreadful stuff up in Earth's Canada then. I do miss the snow. Nice that we've got it round Radient Garden isn't it?' Ash offered her arm to Sora. "I'm banking on the fact that even with inferior heat I've got the nicest fudge recipie this side of any place in Gummi Space.'

(And I'll hold by that. If you want the recipie you need only to ask.)

"Canada?" Sora asked between chewing. He might not have been an expert on fudge, but he decided he really, really liked it. And it tasted pretty good with the eggnog. He took up Ash's arm, and it was only then that it became apparent that some time in the past few months, he had definitely grown up a couple of inches. "And I think I agree with you. It's pretty good."

Ash chuckled. She wasn't the tallest of people but Sora these days did make a petite academic quite diminished. Many years of keyblade training versus much the same time in a library proper, even with a few outings to keep ones marksmanship sharp left a lady quite outclassed by a gentleman who swung a big piece of steel round bout on a regular basis. "Alright then? Onward to Rainbow's End.'
