Apr. 10th, 2009 12:44 amWho: Sora (NPC), Roxas, Donald, Goofy (NPC), Kairi, Merlin and anyone else in Disney Castle who shows up
What: Bunny!
Where: Actually... outside the castle. Scrooge may wish he had a way to carry his Munny Bin with him after this...
When: Monday April 6
Status:
After a bit of plotting and Merlin taking a quick trip to Ivalice to learn a bit more about this creature, they had some form of a plan in mind. That plan, however, wasn't the most sound of plans as it consisted entirely of challenging the bunny to a fight and then telling it to meet them at a imposing looking building in the town of Duckburg, not far from Disney Castle.
The building was Scrooge McDuck's Munny Bin, built of sturdy materials and magically reinforced on top of that. Being loaded roughly four fifths of the way with munny, it still had plenty of room to maneuver. Roxas wasn't so sure he liked this, though. Walking on the coins was like walking on a pile of snow with ice chips mixed into it. Running and fighting were liable to be a lot worse. The bunny being small and light weight made things harder. It would probably have better footing.
"I really don't like this idea," he muttered, "Sora, maybe we should... Sora? SORA."
Sora was not paying attention. He was a little preoccupied, and maybe a little too amused, by there being enough munny jammed into the place to walk on it like sand. Speaking of which, he did seem to be having an easier time walking around on the coins. Maybe all that time running around on sand had paid off for him. He looked up when he heard Roxas snap and grinned sheepishly.
"Sorry," he replied, "I was just checking things out. It's not so bad really. We just, uh, don't really want to use any Fire magic in here. I don't think Donald's uncle would appreciate that."
Roxas put a hand to his face and sighed. That was the understatement of the century. And it wasn't just the wealthy water fowl they needed to worry about. Not only could Fire magic melt the coins, but it seemed to heal the bunny. Merlin had confirmed this from the information he found in Ivalice. This bunny, which was named Fury, was in fact a cruel spirit trapped in the form of a Dream Hare. It seemed to get along with normal Dream Hares, but that didn't change the fact that it spent all its time looking for fights and killing every opponent it had come across so far... well, almost. It was questionable exactly why Donald was still alive, though Roxas suspected that it may have been because Fury was laughing too damn hard to be able to fight when the wizard had started throwing his tantrum. He kept that thought to himself, though.
They had more important issues at the moment. Fury had seemed eager to fight and would likely be there soon. Hopefully, they were prepared well enough for this...

Date: 2009-04-12 02:33 am (UTC)Of course, Scrooge was currently off world, and Donald new how to get in here...
He was just hoping nothing bad would happen...
"When will that confounded bunny get here?" Donald wondered. May as well get this over with.

Date: 2009-04-14 05:01 am (UTC)Behind him, Sora made a face at his dour tone and said, "Nice plan."
Roxas pretended he didn't know Sora was making faces at him and went on, "Merlin said he found that the thing is weak against Water magic. I don't know what we can do with that, unless someone here knows some Water magic. Otherwise, I guess the best option is just to look out for each other and not lose track of the bunny. We've already seen how fast it can move."

If he did he hadn't used it for the longest time, but he knew one, he was sure of it.
"Count on me, I can handle it, Sora!" he exclamed.
Surely he knew a water spell, he's been studying magic for decades, after all.

Date: 2009-04-17 05:44 am (UTC)'Who in their right mind stashes munny like this?' he wondered. There really wasn't anything left to work out in terms of strategy. They were up against a fast moving, fire absorbent bunny that could hit hard enough to break bones and went around picking fights. Why someone had seen fit to move it off its home world was anyone's guess, though it had probably simply been shifted around the same way any other monsters had been. Still...
The tinkling of coins being knocked around caught Roxas's attention and he turned fast, Keyblades ready. There was small... bump... it seemed, moving through the mass of coins. He was reminded of a cli[p of an Earth cartoon he'd found, which had shown its protagonist bunny burrowing along underground everywhere he traveled. The coins were disturbed in the same fashion.
"It's here," Sora said before Roxas could comment, his own Keyblade at the ready.
The bump in the coins paused for a moment, as if debating, before making a beeline for Kairi. Fury burst out from the coin burrow halfway between where it had paused and the Princess, taking a flying leap toward her.

Date: 2009-04-18 05:00 am (UTC)"Sorry we're late," he said, unable to hold back a smile. "Did you miss us?"
As stupid and cheesy as it was, he couldn't help but thin about how happy he was to see them after all this time. There would be a lot to talk about, he was sure. In any case, now wasn't the time for a full-fledged reunion. As weird as it sounded, they had a rabbit to kill.

Date: 2009-04-21 05:08 am (UTC)It was gone instantly as not only Mickey appeared but Riku did as well. Her face lit up and she beamed at Riku, the fear forgotten now. "Your Majesty! Riku!"
She felt at ease now, their trio back together like it should be. Discussion could wait until later after the bunny was dealt with. Without another word she took her place besides the two of them, hanging back a bit before beginning to do carefully aimed shots of Blizzard at it.

Date: 2009-04-21 06:34 am (UTC)Roxas barely dodged it the second time the bunny burst out from the coins, intent on smashing his ribs. He spun as the bunny passed him, swatting it out of the air. It smacked into the coins and rolled away a few feet before jumping up and putting more distance between itself and Roxas. It fumed at him a little before charging, seemingly at him. Instead, it leaped up over his head and went for Donald this time. Roxas turned and threw Oblivion at the bunny, only for the little freak to dodge it, as if it expected him to do just that. The Keyblade plowed through a pile of munny before Roxas recalled it and dashed after the bunny.
