Who: Koios, Jagannatha, and a special guest
What: Koios and the First Darkness have a little catching up to do
Where: Jagannatha's room
When: Monday night

Footsteps echoed on the marble floor. The young man's golden eyes remained shut, as if refusing to acknowledge the other's entrance, but a hint of a smile played on his lips.

"Can't you even light a candle in here, Jag? It's darker than the Corridors."

"Koios," he said, ignoring the demand. "It's been a while since you last contacted me."

"Yeah, yeah. Got caught up in some things." There was a quiet rustle, and then Koios was sitting comfortably in an elaborate chair made entirely of sand. "I've got some news for you, though. You know Maleficent, right? 'Mistress of All Evil' and all that jazz? She agreed to ally with us, on one condition."

"Which is?" Jagannatha prompted when he didn't continue.

"She wants a corrupted Key Bearer," Koios answered. For someone that couldn't feel emotion, he sounded rather proud of himself. "And I know just the one - "

"Let me guess," he interrupted. "Our little house guest from some time ago."

"It's no fun when you know what I'm thinking, you know."

"Creepy, right?"

"As much as it can be to someone like me, yeah."

"Whatever you say. But never mind that. Corrupting Roxas isn't necessary, Koios. We already have a Key Bearer on our side." Before he could ask who, however, a spark came from behind him, and a dark, purple fireball cast a dim glow about the room that glinted in the golden eyes above it. The shadows, where they remained, only deepened under the light. The Nobody couldn’t help but stare. "He has been very generous in offering us his services," Jagannatha continued almost cheerfully. "And all he wants..."

The man behind the flame grinned, and Koios would have shuddered, once upon a time. That grin meant trouble. It meant bad luck for those it was directed at.

"...is a second chance. And I think we can give that to him – maybe even in the form of your favorite little Key Bearer, Koios."
