Now that was just not fair.
She wondered if things would have been any better had she agreed... Probably not.

Well, she'd survived another encounter with the local demon, and acquired a bit of useful information. It was honestly more than she'd hoped for when she ran into him.
And she had to admit it was fun, if somewhat unsatisfying.

She would go home, drink tea, and put that unreleased energy into magic practice while she rehearsed what to say to Lilith next time they met.
