Who: the vague group again
What: Catching up on their progress
Where: The same vague room from before
When: After the destruction of Beast's Castle
Status: Complete
"So," the advisor began, "how goes the experiment?"
"If you hadn't been late to the meeting, you would already know," the witch replied, obviously unamused.
"I was busy," she said, waving a hand dismissively. There was a moment of silence as the other glared at her, but it hardly had any effect.
"The experiment is going well. Three of the four are significantly weakened," the queen answered, walking calmly into the room.
"And the fourth?"
An annoyed tch. "The little island girl is weaker, but not to the same degree as the others. There is something more to her." She settled a stern gaze on the other two. "If we do not figure out what that something is quickly, she will still be an obstacle. And we can't have her standing with those children. It will have to be taken care of soon."
"And how, exactly, are we going to do that if we don't know what this something is?" the advisor demanded. The queen smiled.
"I can find out. I still have access to those refugees' network. It won't take long."
"Or, we can ask the one who gave the idea for this experiment in the first place." The witch earned herself a glare.
"Do what you want," the queen finally said, turning on her heel. "As long as we get what we need."
