Who: Sora, Riku, Ray, Roxas...ANYBODY who wants to get icy projectiles thrown at them, actually.
What: It's snowing. Naturally, this means a snowball fight.
When: A little while after Sora's post.
Where: The Maw.
Status: In progress. Will add more tags as people show up.
Notes: Please no monsters this time, guys. As much fun as it is to go around killing stuff, we want a happy funtimes log.

Riku followed Sora through the snow, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets. The cold didn't bother him too much, really. He was much more used to winter weather conditions now then he had been over a year ago, thanks to all of the traveling he had done. But that still didn't make it pleasant, especially when he had no idea what they were even doing.

"Sora, will you at least tell me what's going on?" he said with more then a hint of irritation in his tone.

She had already ducked back behind the fort to grab another snowball, and when she finally popped back up to take aim again, Sora was on the ground. She roared with laughter, nearly dropping the snowball. After a few moments, as she wiped the tears from her eyes, she threw it at him.

"You should never wear that many layers to a snowball fight, Sora!"

It was at about that moment that a well-crafted snowball came hurtling towards the back of Ray's head.

Song had not responded to the post on the community, but she'd been watching... and planning. She'd taken a slightly longer way down and counted on the others to distract each other while she snuck up on them. She wasn't exactly dressed for stealth, wearing a red velvet cape instead of a coat, but she was something of an expert on games of hiding and hunting, and it had been a while since she used that skill for something other than mortal combat.

Fox was too busy watching the whole affair from a distance and debating whether or not she wanted to go and help Sora up. Seriously, why was that boy wearing so many layers? She understood not liking the cold that much, as she tended to chill easily herself. But really, two or three layers was enough, depending on the thickness of the layers.

Well, hopefully he'd learn his lesson from this. Even if he hadn't fallen over and found he couldn't get up, he had so many layers on that he would likely overheat.

"Mppphfhh!" was Sora's reply as he wiggled helplessly in the snow. After a few seconds he was able to lift his head slightly - the only part of his face visible were his eyes. He began rocking back and forth to get some momentum to turn on his back, and finally managed to flip over. Now, the sitting up part.

He grabbed Riku's hand, and with some difficulty, pulled himself up to a sitting position.

"How was I supposed to know?" he replied through his snow-covered scarves, removing his outermost coat and throwing it carelessly behind him. One of his hats had been lost in the fall, but two was still enough for him. He kept sitting in the snow, peered off in the direction where the snowball had come from, and grinned. He quickly packed together a snowball the size of a softball and then threw it at Ray, following up with another one at Roxas.

Kairi crept up to the two of them, while they were distracted and talking, a snowball in each hand. Luckily her jacket mostly blended into the snowy background so she wasn't as obvious with her hair tucked into her hood. Quietly waiting until Sora tossed is snowball, she pelted them both with hers, giving herself away as she giggled out loud, grabbing more snow and attempting to stuff it down the back of the closest person.

Donald would most likely have been playing along too if he wasn't in hysterics from Sora's antics. Frankly it served the boy right for wearing what appeared to be his entire closet for this.

Roxas had by this time scooped up some snow to form into a ball and lob at someone. Then Sora's snowball sailed in and clipped him on the shoulder. He ignored that, though, in favor of a chance to treat a certain crabby waterfowl to a chilly face pack.

Unfortunately for Song, Ray had ducked to pick up another two snowballs, only to hear the fort get struck with it. She let out a dramatic gasp of affront and stood again to throw her next projectile at the offender.

Of course, this put her right in the path of Sora's snowball. She stumbled, and looked back at him slowly with a mischievous grin. Then, pulling out the other snowball, she threw it at him, not even caring if she were to miss and hit someone else.

Song laughed and darted to the side, which only saved her from a direct hit. The snowball grazed her shoulder as she dove to scoop up more ammo. Instead of going for another shot at Ray, though, she ran to the fort and added her new snowball to the barrage against Sora.

"So it's a bit late to ask, but mind if I join you?"

This certainly was not Sora's day. After getting to his feet, he somehow managed to get hit in the back of the head with Kairi's snowball and when he half turned to chastise her about sneaking up on him, got hit in the side with Ray's snowball and in the leg with Song's. He let out a cry of protest, wondering what in the world he had done to deserve this.

But rather than stay still, he dove behind a nice little mound of snow, peaking above it just for a second to shout "this means war!" before disappearing again.

When he reappeared a few moments later, his arms were full of snowballs and he sent a barrage of them hurtling in the direction of the snow fort.
