Who: Sora, Riku, Ray, Roxas...ANYBODY who wants to get icy projectiles thrown at them, actually.
What: It's snowing. Naturally, this means a snowball fight.
When: A little while after Sora's post.
Where: The Maw.
Status: In progress. Will add more tags as people show up.
Notes: Please no monsters this time, guys. As much fun as it is to go around killing stuff, we want a happy funtimes log.
Riku followed Sora through the snow, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets. The cold didn't bother him too much, really. He was much more used to winter weather conditions now then he had been over a year ago, thanks to all of the traveling he had done. But that still didn't make it pleasant, especially when he had no idea what they were even doing.
"Sora, will you at least tell me what's going on?" he said with more then a hint of irritation in his tone.

Date: 2009-12-07 03:20 am (UTC)'He's going to get creamed,' Roxas thought idly.
The snowball sailing in out of nowhere didn't go unnoticed, though Roxas wasn't the one getting hit. he hadn't sacrificed his mobility for warmth.

Fortunately for Sora, he had on some many layers of clothing, he only felt a dull thump, but it was enough for him to turn to see where Ray was hiding behind a fort made entirely of now.
"Hey!" he said, bending over to scoop up some snow...and then realizing his many layers prevented him from bending correctly. He flailed for balance for about two seconds before falling facefirst into the snow, creating a nice Sora-shaped hole in the snow.

Date: 2009-12-07 04:09 am (UTC)Song had not responded to the post on the community, but she'd been watching... and planning. She'd taken a slightly longer way down and counted on the others to distract each other while she snuck up on them. She wasn't exactly dressed for stealth, wearing a red velvet cape instead of a coat, but she was something of an expert on games of hiding and hunting, and it had been a while since she used that skill for something other than mortal combat.

Date: 2009-12-08 12:42 am (UTC)...A snowball fight, huh?
A quick glance over in the direction of the snowball confirmed that Ray was the one behind all of it. He wasn't at all surprised - of course the refugees were going to take advantage of the winter weather. When he looked back at Sora, lying face-down in a hole in the snow, Riku was unable to hold back a small burst of laughter. The image was just...just so typically Sora, he thought.
After a moment, however, he walked a bit closer to Sora and reached out his hand, offering to help him up.
"See, if you had told me what we were doing sooner, I would've warned you about all of those coats." he said.

Date: 2009-12-08 12:51 am (UTC)He grabbed Riku's hand, and with some difficulty, pulled himself up to a sitting position.
"How was I supposed to know?" he replied through his snow-covered scarves, removing his outermost coat and throwing it carelessly behind him. One of his hats had been lost in the fall, but two was still enough for him. He kept sitting in the snow, peered off in the direction where the snowball had come from, and grinned. He quickly packed together a snowball the size of a softball and then threw it at Ray, following up with another one at Roxas.

She let out a dramatic gasp of affront and stood again to throw her next projectile at the offender.Of course, this put her right in the path of Sora's snowball. She stumbled, and looked back at him slowly with a mischievous grin. Then, pulling out the
othersnowball, she threw it at him, not even caring if she were to miss and hit someone else.no subject

Date: 2009-12-09 03:11 am (UTC)That's what I get for taking my eye off her. he thought, laughing again. He backed away a few more steps, quickly making his own snowball and throwing it at Kairi. It wasn't the most carefully aimed shot, but that didn't matter - even if it missed, there was still plenty of snow for him to work with.

Date: 2009-12-09 08:25 pm (UTC)But rather than stay still, he dove behind a nice little mound of snow, peaking above it just for a second to shout "this means war!" before disappearing again.
When he reappeared a few moments later, his arms were full of snowballs and he sent a barrage of them hurtling in the direction of the snow fort.
