Who: Rak and Ray
What: Kidnapping :\
Where: somewhere in Radiant Garden
When: after the party... so probably sometime past midnight, at least.
Having enjoyed the full benefits of the party's being located at Seventh Heaven, Ray had had her share of drinks. She wasn't quite drunk, no. But her natural clumsiness had intensified along with the dizziness she was feeling. Maybe she was a little buzzed, but no more than that. At least she still knew left from right. And walking in a straight line - well, she couldn't do that completely sober.
...Who needed grace, anyway? It was totally overrated.
It didn't help that she was tired after all this. Their parties tended to last for a while, this one wasn't really an exception. She yawned and found her arm brushing the wall. She gave it an irritated look and mumbled, "You stay over there, wall," and very deliberately veered away from it as she continued on her route home.

"Been a long time Ray, how've you been?" He moved his goggles from his eyes to his forehead, smiling a little. Assessing the state Ray was in, it was important after all.

"Been okay," she murmured, finally making her feet move again. "But can we save the chat for later? I'd kind of like to get home, y'know."

"Right, you need to get home, lemme help you with that," and on the word 'that', he did something which was entirely counter to what he was saying. Also it wasn't exactly proper in polite society. As it was that moment he pulled his gun and fired a shot at Ray. An energy round, hopefully it will make this whole process easier. Tired, buzzed, and magic-free would make this not have to be too violent.
"Sorry 'bout this."

"Can't just say no to a job due to a past life," he kept getting closer, ready to bring this to a fistfight if it came to it. What mattered was that for at least right now. He had without a doubt the upper hand on Ray.

"Some evil queen wants you kidnapped so she can get revenge on you," Rakath adjusted his gun, pointing it at her. "Just, let me knock you out already, stop making this so much trouble. I don't really WANT to hurt you."

She cast a quick Thundaga to try to lessen the affect of the attack, and was startled to find herself hit full force when nothing happened. "Wha..." she groaned, pushing herself up into a kneeling position.
"What evil queen? Closest I ever got to crossing one of them was Maleficent..." She shook her head in confusion. "And you oughta know by now... I'm not going down without a fight!" She tried to cast another spell, growling when it failed. She hadn't brought her nunchaku with her, she thought bitterly, reaching instead for the knife she'd bought a while back.

Well, his Silence Shot worked like a charm. Okay, it was a charm, but whatever. However he couldn't dilly dally on this, he should get this done BEFORE her magic starts to work again. He rushed forward trying to just trap her knife against the white Aura blade of his own weapon... then shoot her with a Blizzard Shot.

"Trying not to hurt me?" she echoed. "Well maybe this is news to you, but those shots kinda hurt, Rak!"

Rakath sighed and did a quick slash with his knife as a follow up, the blade changed from white to... nothing, and he seemed well out of range. As he sliced the air sort of swirled around him as he moved. Not like Aero, but the air around his body being changed by his presence.

He figured he was overthinking the fight, hit her over and over with Aura until she's out cold and leave. Simple, direct, effective, minimal chances of cutting her leaving scars.

Rakath dragged her off the ground and away from the wall. He didn't wanna do anymore damage than needed, and gave her a swift headbutt then followed it up with a boot to the gut. "Please let this be done with, I don't wanna hurt you."
"Even if I gotta..." he winced, "That's why they don't do headbutts so often... ow..."
