Who: Sora, Donald, Goofy (NPC), Riku (NPC), Kairi, Roxas.. possibly may also have Pridelands residents NPC'd
What: The crashing of a gummi ship after a disagreement about where its occupants should be going
Where: Snowed over Pridelands
When: Thursday, Feb. 5
Roxas looked around. This was a fine mess to be in. They'd crashed the ship fighting over the controls. More specifically, Sora and Donald had crashed the ship fighting over the controls. They'd done that once before, but it didn't look like they'd learned they're lesson from it. To make matters worse, it seemed they'd all been separated and they had to be crashed on a world where their forms would change. Roxas had been on four paws once before, but that was an event he preferred not to speak of, since it had involved Axel and a lost bet...
Being a lion wasn't too bad, he supposed, but he was reasonably certain lions weren't found in snowy climates. Well, it did look like a jungle, which meant the snow wasn't natural. He had to find the others so they could figure this out.
The others... Where they all right? Roxas would never admit it to anyone but the idea that they might not be okay scared him. They had their fights and he thought that could be awfully stupid at times, but he did care about them.
"Shit." The community would be the fastest way to find out, but where was his computer? It could've ended up miles away for all he knew...
Or he could trip on it when he went to run off and search. Cursing his luck, he stood up and shook some snow off. Well, that was weird, but maybe it was something like the gummi ships following their pilots when they got bounced to other worlds. Shaking from more than just the cold, he opened up the computer and pulled up the community with some minor difficulty due to a current lack of opposable thumbs. He was going to post an entry asking them to check in, but Sora had already posted expressing concern that their charts said they were in the Pridelands and yet there was snow. So, he knew Sora was okay and eventually Donald checked in as well. Where were the others?

Date: 2009-02-10 01:15 am (UTC)Sora rolled in it, pounced on it, and ate some of it. It was definitely snow, and it didn't belong here. Moreover, the crash had separated him from everyone else. Riku and Roxas he wasn't worried about; they could take care of themselves. But Kairi had had barely any experience off the Islands, and especially not in a different form.
But with the Serengeti covered in a massive expanse of white, Sora would easily get lost. There had to be a landmark...like that one.
The snow-capped Pride Rock gleamed in the distance, the sun barely peeking out from the clouds behind it. Sora bounded in its direction, eager to find Simba and get to the bottom of this. Then perhaps the lionesses would help him search for his friends.
late tag is late and idk if it makes any sense. Orz.
Date: 2009-02-11 07:40 am (UTC)Was this...snow? But... Hadn't Sora said that the Pridelands was a Savannah? There shouldn't of been any snow here at all.
She gave the smallest annoyed sound after looking around her again. That crash had obviously separated them. There was no one in sight, animal or not. All there was were snow covered rock and the hints of large bones peaking through.
With a few tries of working out her new four paws, she shakily got up and began walking in one direction. Kairi had no idea where she was going, nor even if anyone would be this way, all she could do was just hope they were.
I'm not sure my tag makes much sense either...
Date: 2009-02-12 05:53 am (UTC)Yeah, it was definitely going to be a long walk. He could just barely see the unique outcropping called Pride Rock, appearing as just a spec in the distance. The snowfall made it even harder, but between glimpses of Sora's memory from before and other information he'd found, he was reasonably certain that was it. While it was probably a good point to make for, he still wanted to be sure that none of his friends was stuck in the Graveyard.
At least his laptop had somehow managed to come along with the bag he carried it in, which he managed to finagle into a saddlebag type thing to sling over his back. That made things a little easier, as he would probably have had to leave it behind otherwise.
