Delivering the cure...

Who: Fox, Riku, Mickey, Cloud and Tifa
What:Fox has arrived in RG with the cure, but she's kind of stranded in the hangar. Fucking zombies...
Where: Starting in the hangar heading to Rainbow's End first and wherever else they may have to from there.
When: In the wee hours Sunday morning
Status: Ongoing



Getting back to Radiant Garden hadn't been that bad of a ride. Boring as hell after battling the Behemoth King, but not bad other wise. It was going to leave the unusually and unnervingly quiet hangar that there was a problem. Fox had known already that there were zombies hanging around here, but she really hadn't expected there to be enough of them to be a problem with getting to Rainbow's End or Merlin's place to start handing out the cure.

She should've taken her rotten luck into consideration.

When the first zombie had approached, it had been no big deal. A Fire spell and a swipe of her Holy forged katana had taken care of it. A zombie mage had soon appeared to provide cover for more zombies to swarm and Fox had been forced to flee back into the hangar, where she wound up stranded on top of her ship and using the zombie wizards as target practice. She sent out a message on the community for help. Hopefully she wouldn't run out of arrows or magic before then.

Tifa did her best to sprint from her bar, punching and kicking her way through the remaining hordes. It was bad enough the smell was enough to make her dizzy but with being a combat fighter, bit and pieces of things she's rather not think about were sliming her gloves and shoes.

Still, the faster she got to Fox the faster the cure would be administered the better it'd be all around. Taking a moment to step back, she shot forward through the small path she cleared hopefully making her way to the hanger soon.

And Cloud was right behind her, his oversized sword making rather quick work of any zombie stupid enough to get in his way. And considering this was zombies we're talking about that was petty much... all of them.

He really wished these things wold stop being so relentless, but odds are that wouldn't be happening any time soon. With three powerfull slashes he cleared his path and caught up with Tifa.

Fox thought she heard some kind of commotion, but in all honesty, she was too busy sniping the more dangerous zombies to think on it. The mages were the biggest problem, mostly for a higher resistance to magic. Then again, that was what the exploding arrows were for.

Hopefully she wouldn't inadvertantly shoot one of her allies when they arrived...

Though Riku was preoccupied with the zombies (they were just like the heartless, he thought, coming endlessly no matter how many he struck down), he did notice Tifa and Cloud's arrival. He was glad, honestly, because having help made things a lot easier. He wanted to get the cure to Sora and Kairi as soon as possible. However, he wasn't quite as sure about those exploding arrows he saw a short distance away - he didn't know Fox well enough to trust her aim. He would have to be careful.

Tifa took Clouds appearance in stride, not even blinking an eye as she positioned herself near him, covering his back. The explosions from the distance gave her a vague area of where they were headed and stepped back for a second, observing the area. Leaving the path towards Fox to the boys, she turned towards the growing stray numbers behind them, faintly frowning. It seemed like just sticking to normal attacks wouldn't do much and she wrinkled her nose thinking of her already ruined gloves. Seems like a step up in her attack would be necessary.

Without a second thought she headed for the nearest zombie rushing into a combo of attacks, more known to others as her Limit Break.

While Tifa was doing that, Cloud briefly focused his energy before letting out a barrage of seemingly countless sword slashes on the hords of zombies. Omnislash would be able to take out large groups of the zombies, hopefully it would clear the path enough to get Fox out of the bunker.

Fox did notice the veritable whirlwind of zombie parts flying as Cloud cut his way through group and took care not to aim that way. What a mess. One of the things that would need doing was gathering up this mess and burning it, but that could wait until the cure was distributed.

Meanwhile, Fox focused on picking off the magic using zombies and wondered why the hell they were even here. She suspected that the zombies remained focused on her because se did have a higher level spell that could take them out.

She missed a zombie mage though and the Fire spell it aimed her way threw off her aim...
