Who: Tifa, Ray, Ari, Fox, Josiah, Ash, Aya, Greta, and whoever else wants to stop by
What: a few of the refs ask for bartending tips and Tifa agrees
Where: Seventh Heaven, Radiant Garden
When: Today (Jan. 17th)
Status: Active

The bar was closed and silent today, the usual patrons informed of her mini lesson she was giving. Tifa had cleared away a section of the bar filling it with the basic equipment and a few of the more popular drinks and mixes.

She was ready, prepared, and a little apprehensive. This would be the first time ever that she ever tried to instruct anyone on the art of bar tending and she was obviously nervous.

All she could do now was sit back and wait for the others to arrive.

Ray was taking her time to get there. Sure, it was good to be on time, but hey, they were learning how to mix drinks. It wouldn't hurt anyone if she were late, right? Except maybe the people who drank what she mixed. And rushing would only stress her out a little more. It was better to just go at her own pace.

When she did arrive, however, she kicked open the door and dramatically walked in, pumping her fist and shouting, "Alright~! Let's get this lesson started~!"

She stopped and blinked, realizing that no one else was there just yet. "...Huh. And here I thought I was late. Maybe my clock is fast or something."

Greta had arrived in Radiant Garden earlier that day. She didn't tell anyone that she was gonna be visiting, because she decided to surprize them by showing up at Tifa's thing. Greta didn't drink, or anything, but whatever...

She walked in to Tifa's bar and yelled, "HELLO RADIANT GARDEN! Did you miss me~?" Hey, no one ever said Greta was subtle.

Ari hummed under her breath as she headed for Seventh Heaven. She practically knew the way by heart and barely paid any attention to her surrounding on her way there.

Unfortunately instead of noticing the door wasn't closed she walked and tripped right over the step and face planted her way inside. "ow.....I'm okay!"

Fox was already there when Ray had walked in, but since Fox was the type to just pick a quiet spot and be unobtrusive, she had likely not been noticed.

While she would be paying attention to the lessons, she wasn't there specifically to learn to mix drinks (it would be a nice benefit though). She was actually there more to witness some potential hilarity and to record said hilarity, as she had promised a certain blond haired Keyblade wielder over AIM that she would.

Aya didn't make a whole big production about entering the bar, though the short and scarred refugee is certainly hard to miss. She looked a bit leaner this time based on the last time she was seen but unlike last time when all of reality was nearly ending, she was in a supremely good mood.

"Heeeey everyone." she grinned, grabbing a stool and dragging it on up to the bar. "Okay, I have to admit in advance that I do have some experience here but I am always looking to brush up and learn new things."

Josiah quietly entered into the bar, unzipping his motorcycle jacket as he did so, taking note of the five other Refugees already there. He was noticeably lacking a certain sex demon, and his gait was slightly unsteady. He approached the bar, but didn't sit down, instead shooting a tired grin to the others gathered there.

"Remind me again who you all are," he said, running a hand through his hair. "I know some of you look familiar, but I can't place names to faces right now."

Aya boggled at Josiah, "...uh, you're kidding, right? This is a joke, right? I mean, come on, you can't forget me can you?"

Josiah grinned at Aya. "Guilty as charged. You're kind of a hard person to forget." He then nodded at the bar. "This should be interesting." He then slid into a chair and rested against the bar. "Try not to make anything explode."

Clapping her hands together, Aya grinned. "There is hope for you yet! Good to see you again, Josiah. Don't worry, I'm sure we're going to put on a good show for you. Part of bartending IS showmanship, after all!"

Shifting, she hooked her left leg around one of the legs of the stool so she could lean back just slightly and tilt her head back to peer at him. "On a more serious note, though...you really can't remember where you were these past few months?"

He laughed. "Good to see you too. And as long as we get out of here alive, I won't have any problems with your bartending abilities."

At the mention of his memory loss though, his smile faded into a look of intense concern. "Nothing comes to mind. It's all one big blank actually." He grinned wearily. "Feels like I should be in a Spanish soap opera somewhere."

She gave him a wolfish grin. "I promise I will be gentle and not hop up on the bar to karaoke my heart out like in Coyote Ugly." Since this wasn't in Anadalasia, her singing probably wouldn't be as passable.

Back to serious business time, though, "Your evil Spanish twin will have to show up and try to abduct Chase first. What was the last thing you remember?"

He chuckled at the mental image of Aya singing and dancing on top of the bar, and shook his head. Knowing their luck, such a scene would end up on the internet and Aya would be infamous for yet another YouTube phenomenom.

He frowned in thought at her question. "The first memory I had after going to sleep was waking up in the middle of a conversation with someone... who was kinda freaked out when he realized he was talking to an amnesiac."

Already internets famous enough for the Xemnas video, Aya could, frankly, do without another hit.

She held up a hand and made a twirling motion with her pointer finger. "Back it up, going to sleep where and when?"

Josiah drummed his fingers against the countertop in concentration. "In Narnia, about four months after the Pevensies went back through the wardrobe. So...almost four hundred years ago." He grimaced. "Or two months ago. We were still in Narnia at the time. Woke up in Archenland. Fun times." He laughed quietly. "Almost think that it's a good thing I don't remember. Four hundred years is... a long time to remember."

"So Narnia, for four hundred years. Almost sounds like a case of 'Chosen by cosmic forces beyond your comprehension to serve as a piece in some kind of game that determines the fate of the universe and later forced to forget everything about it' but I'm just shooting in the dark here." Aya turned around in her seat fully so she could let her back rest against the edge of the bar. "Not enough information to draw that kind of conclusion. So who was that someone you were talking to when you woke up?"

From: [identity profile] harpie-siren.livejournal.com
"How does that even work?" Greta asked, "Because... last time I checked, people don't live for four hundred years"

Yeah, she was butting in, but this whole thing bothered her.

"People age in Narnia, they just get reset when they leave...."

Josiah made a face at Aya's comment. "There are no words to describe how much I really really don't want that to be the case. As for the guy..." He shrugged. "He ran off before I could find out anything useful."

When Greta popped into the conversation, Josiah could only shake his head and sigh, rubbing the bridge of his nose wearily. "And there's the biggest mystery of all. I may be linked to a demon but that shouldn't mean..." He trailed off, not liking the implications of that thought.

Aya shrugged, "Hey, with things the way they are, it's a possibility we can't rule out. If it's any consolation, you're alive and we still exist so maybe that means you won."

Demon. That triggered something in Aya's mind, apparently, and she immediately gave a good look around the room. "Speaking of demons, where's that succubus of yours? I'd think she'd be all over a situation that could result in lowered inhibitions."

"So the rocks fell, no one died, but apparently one hit me on the head." Josiah chuckled, and winked at Aya. "Now THAT I can except."

He followed Aya's gesture with a small grin. "She heard that the company was going to be mainly female, and said something about mortal females being ridiculous."
