Seo Sciathan: well, I asked him if there was any chance of getting Calum his own body so he couldn't hurt you or anything anymore... but he said if you wanted to try that there'd be a price for it

soleilonthemind: there's always a catch

Seo Sciathan: yeah, but he said if you both agreed to it whichever way you choose to do it would probably go a lot smoother than if one of you didn't

soleilonthemind: that part should be very easy - Calum is a very agreeable person :\

Seo Sciathan: I'd imagine he is sometimes when it comes to obtaining his goal

soleilonthemind: I wonder if he'll agree to this one - guess it wouldn't hurt to ask

Seo Sciathan: the problem, though, is that separating your souls could damage them. if it's not done right, you'll both be hurt

soleilonthemind: ....well, shit
soleilonthemind: I suppose there weren't any exact details on the extent or nature of that damage?

Seo Sciathan: not that I remember, no
Seo Sciathan: but I do remember him saying that if Calum died while you two were still bound to each other, your soul could be severely damaged, so if you want to be seperated it might be good to do it sooner rather than later... but that's up to you

soleilonthemind: sounds like it might work both ways too - he can't kill me unless he wants to mess up his own soul in the process. Not that it probably matters to him, but hey, whatever works, right?

Seo Sciathan: that's probably true

soleilonthemind: there's always plan b - bang my head against a wall until he can't stand the headache and leaves

Seo Sciathan: ...yeah, don't give yourself a concussion

Seo Sciathan: pfft, you're probably used to concussions anyway, aren't you.

soleilonthemind: there've been a few fights but now things are dead quiet here - which, I'm guessing, is NOT normal for this place

soleilonthemind: anything else about said dead pirates that I should know about from Yen Sid?

Seo Sciathan: um... he did mention a couple ways of separating you two, if you're interested

soleilonthemind: ?

Seo Sciathan: he said something about necromancy
Seo Sciathan: and a knife that we'd A) have to find, and B) have to find someone who can use it
Seo Sciathan: the knife is special, apparently, designed to sever bonds between souls like the one between you and Calum, so it could be perfect for that... but if it's used by the wrong person, it can harm you both pretty damn badly

soleilonthemind: nothing worthwhile is ever simple, is it - I feel like I just got suckered into a quest for the holy grail or something. Maybe I should get a fedora and a whip while I'm at it

soleilonthemind: what kind of person can use the knife?

Seo Sciathan: I think... he said it had to be someone with a true understanding of souls, to use it properly

soleilonthemind: too bad there aren't any multiuniversal classified ads

Seo Sciathan: of course not, that'd make it easy for us

soleilonthemind: alright, I'll see what else I can find out from Lilith... from a very, very far distance

soleilonthemind: sometimes I wonder how the hell I got mixed up in the most cracktastic torrid love/hate affair this side of the multiverse :\
