The man scrutinized her for a moment longer before shuffling around the shop, watching them both through narrowed eyes. "Aye. What'll ye boys be needing, then?" He paused. "Assuming ye can even use what ye buy, that is."
"I'll have you know that our father taught us to properly use weapons," Ray protested. She didn't like this man, she decided. He was rude, and talked down to them... Granted, he probably knew more about the weapons than they did...
He turned his glare back on her. "Ye best be quiet. I'll not be selling me goods to some ignorant brat."
She tried to stamp out the anger that flared within her, but didn't manage it well. She returned his glare in full, and finally turned to look at some of the swords he had on display.
"Suppose I'll let you handle this one," she mumbled.
