Mabry paced nervously, glancing at her watch. She had arrived early. she liked to be early. It was only just now time. And perhaps the person she awaited would be late, if they even arrived at all.
She had left Ashlyn playing with Eli, while Amy and Jalen took care of Larkin. Jalen had been told to sit on Amy if she showed any sign of turning into Awiergen.
Oh, she hoped this would go well.
