At the sight of him actually bleeding, Aya felt a little more at ease with this fight. It was not unlike the time Leonades wounded Xerxes in 300, proving the man no god. The lack of choking clouds of darkness billowing from his wounds was a plus.
Offered no time to respond to his sneering, Aya put all her effort into parrying his attack downward, putting all of her weight on her weapon to keep his pinned to the ground. As she did so, she glared up into the keyblader's eyes. "Why should yours? Why do we have to get caged in the realm of darkness?"
Without warning, she swung her head upwards, driving the crown of her skull at the bridge of his nose. The pressure against the keyblade suddenly subsided as Aya pulled back. Cruel as it was, she wasn't about to let that 'outclassed' insult slide.
