She did take a step back, making it look as if she were only adjusting her footing. She had to remind herself that her intention here was to stall the healer as long as possible. It was a battle with her own impatience, but if any of the Refugees got badly hurt or killed, it would be well worth the inconvenience.
"Go on then, if you must, and explain exactly what your answer is. If it doesn't result in an exchange of blows, I'll be impressed."
