is this what we deserve, can we break free
Who: Everyone
What: The Darkness has taken the Denizens of Light. How will they retaliate, having reached their destination?
Where: Alexandria
When: Sunday, June 12
Koios stood silently looking out of the window of Jagannatha's former quarters. He watched as their enemies rose from the Darkness that had pulled them in, stealing them away from their safe havens and bringing them here, where perhaps all of their worst fears would come true.
Alexandria's sky had turned black. The only things illuminating the false world anymore were a scant few lamps and candles... and the Hearts of the Allies of Light themselves. One had appeared with a fortress of Light, destroying many of the homes around them as Darkness threw her out of its arms. He watched, morbidly fascinated, as one by one, they rose into their cage.
Chernabog glowered down at them from above. He was a fine choice for the role of sentinel, boasting nearly as much power as the First Darkness himself. Koios, as well as the Heartless and Nobodies swarming about below, were nothing short of a safety measure - not that Jagannatha found it particularly necessary. In truth, it was more of a courtesy for the Nobody, a chance to properly boast to the losers, should he wish to take it. But for now, he remained where he was, observing the scene unfold impassively.
If Koios knew anything about the Key Bearers and Refugees, they wouldn't give up simply because they'd been trapped here, in Darkness, with no way discernible way out. No. That would only empower them. But the question remained: what would be their next step?
In any case, he thought, it would definitely prove to be a good show.
OOC: If you were not on the list of exceptions, you are now in Alexandria. Anyone who has any way of sensing the Hearts of others will know that any people native to this world have no Hearts, just as the world itself is lacking one. And yet, not a one of them is a Nobody.
All methods of transportation will fail.

...At least, until a certain Key Bearer showed up.
"Well, I dunno about you, but I'm certainly not rushing to any unfortunate conclusions," he answered Roxas dryly.

A familiar voice reached her as Roxas came rushing in. With that accusatory tone, it's not hard for Aya to imagine what the ex-Nobody is implying. He never did think very much of any of the Refugees, least of all her, based on the impression Aya got from Roxas.
"I'm dealing with some business. Did you know Master Xehanort is alive? And working with Jagannatha?"

As to Koios...
"Whatever you're up to right now, I kind of really don't care since you seem to be just as stuck as we are," Roxas replied, "But I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong in assuming that you're the one that sent me Sora's crown. How did you get it and where is Sora?" He wasn't asking whether or not Sora was alive. That he knew, could sense. But, maybe it was the infecting darkness clouding everything, but that was all he could tell. If Sora was hurt or in serious danger, Roxas couldn't tell.

"He's somewhere that way, last I heard. Dungeons, maybe." As if that would hold him. "He might have gotten a little overzealous with the Heartless when they came for him, 'cause I found that crown of his, dyed a pretty little red. Figured you might like to have it." Jibes aside... "Don't worry about him, kid. No one was killed in the transition. Traumatized - maybe, I don't know. But he ought to be alive and kicking."

She spun on her heel dramatically. This movement was specifically tailored so her cloak will billow out behind her but here she didn't have that cloak so it wasn't nearly as fancy-looking as it should be. Aya looked over a shoulder. "And that's me. We'll be in touch. Roxas, play nice and don't waste your energy fighting this guy here, we need your strength for more important things."

Whether or not Koios was telling the truth, Roxas wasn't going to bother pursuing. The bastard had the sense of humor of a Troll and Roxas really didn't feel like feeding any Trolls right now. Killing a troll, on the other hand was more desirable.
But he really didn't want to find out the hard if he'd also end up mixing it up with Aya if he started a fight. She'd taken on Xaldin and won. Granted, not alone, but given her back up was Cheryle and the Beast? Aya plus high level Nobody equals bad pair to pick a fight with, even if there was a faint ghost of a possibility that he could win it. Not to mention he had enough problems with the Refugees at times as it was and picking a fight with one of them would really only make it worse. Especially if they were all here.
However, Roxas could be a dick too, when the mood struck him. He waited until Aya was out of earshot, though.
"It's weird, you know. Sending me the pendant like that... is something a sadist would do. But sadist's enjoy doing things like that. You don't have a Heart with which to enjoy that. So why?"
