Who: Aria and Seph
What: Exploring ruins and finding something weird
Where: Traverse Town
When: February 27th afternoon through early evening
Status: Complete
Notes: Don't really feel like going into detail on the trip through. Just felt the need to put down the basics of what happened down there.
Of course they had to explore the ruins in Traverse Town. They lived there now after all. It wouldn't do to leave it be and the other people were afraid to explore.
There wasn't much conversation along the way. It was a confusing place. They'd resorted to trying to map it as they went along. The Heartless inside were nothing they couldn't handle but, there were enough to be cautious.
The increase in strange runes on the wall suggested they were starting to get close to something. Aria muttered something about wishing she knew what the markings meant.
After a while and a room filled with Heartless they came across an altar set into the wall. Runes were carved all around and a faintly glowing orb was sitting on a stand. It was bluish and smooth but, they couldn't tell what it was made of. It was obviously not an ordinary object.
Seph picked it up. They'd come all this way it seemed silly to just leave it. He examined it for several minutes while Aria looked at the runes.
"What do you think..." Aria was cut off mid sentence... she'd disappeared.
Seph was speechless. He didn't know how but, he must have activated the orb. After several minutes trying to figure out how to undo whatever had been done he started to panic. She was just gone.
It wasn't until he pushed his panic down several minutes later that he thought to try to translate the runes. He didn't even know where to start. That meant asking for help.
While he waited for his computer to start up he decided that he had to try to keep this orb a secret. In the wrong hands... He didn't want to finish the thought.
He sent his request for help and then thought about how he would get it without giving away what it was about. He just didn't know who could be trusted anymore.
