"Which I have a feeling isn't very standard at all." He leaned back, and rubbed his eyes. "You learn something new everyday, I suppose. Anyway, there's one more thing I'd like to ask you. I mean, I've heard about magic, and obviously, now I've seen it. But, how do you go about it learning it, or creating a new spell? Is it all just luck, or is there a method to the madness that defines just what you can do with the stuff?"

"I mean, if I set out to develop new magic, what would the limits be? Tracing? Summoning? Rune magic? Jewel Sorcery? Law magic? What stops a person with a fire spell from turning it into a flamethrower? Can you use lightning to make a crude rail-gun? What about modifying Cure into a bio-mod? Just what is the limit of magic?"

He laid back the rest of the way, laying flat on the ground. "I mean, you created a spell for lucid dreams. We're talking about something that pushes back the laws of physics as we know them. How does it do it? Why does it do it?"

He sighed and looked up at the sky.

"It feels like the more I know, the less I do."
