"I'm awake." He anounced, as he pulled himself up. After a moment's thought, he decided that, whatever the 'shadow' was, Song probably deserved to know about it. His hand touched his cheek. Was this really the right course of action? The Shadow had asked. Politely, at that. But... He sighed. 'Reach out to the Truth. Even if it's a long, hard road, the Truth is worth that effort.' Bit of a paraphrase, but since when had following the lesson a video game had taught him get him in trouble?
