"Woah!" Kurtis spread his feet, lowering his center of balance. The ground tilted and shook, rattling the entire room. To his left, he could see tree roots, or were they branches, forcefully weaving themselves into the walls, bursting through the stone with earth shattering cracks and booms.

A moment later, it was over. Or at least, the shaking stopped. Carefully, edging his way to the new 'window', he listened with every step. A single creak or crack could be his only warning of a collapse. Once he got there, he was reminded intimately of the fact that this was a dream world.

Outside the tower, there was the world... upside down. The sun was shining up, and above him, he could see a truly massive forest, with monstrous tree's going in every direction as far as the eye could see. It looked like his little 'dream room' had been caught up in the sudden growth of one of the larger trees.

Taking a moment to look at them, the tree's were mostly bare. They had leaves, enough to give them color, but they were really dominated by their 'fruit'. Bookcases. Each one filled to the brim, each tree filled with them.

He was so entranced, that he barely noticed the light rain falling up, and into his nose. Then he sputtered and drew himself back into the stony room.
