She gave no reaction at first. No widening of eyes, nor even a twitch of her lips. Of course, she'd been expecting it, but the unsurprised act was really just that. She didn't know what to expect from him, especially now, so she was keeping her own heart on a tight lead.
"I see." She sipped her tea, slowly. "I should be honest with you. The only Nobody I truly saved was myself. I got a long way with another. We both believed it was a success... but he was only living a memory of emotion. It was false, and it faded." She met his eyes over the rim of her cup. "Myself I saved with the help of the Refugees and the good fortune of luring in my own Heartless. It can be done, but..."
But it wasn't terribly likely, and neither was another Deus Ex Machina event like the Dreaming.
