hey, Lucy, I remember your name

Who: Any and all allies of the Keybearers
What: Celebrating Aqua's return with a feast and dancing
Where: Disney Castle's throne room
When: Friday, June 25, 2010

Aqua wasn't sure about this. Seeing friends again was one thing, but throwing a big party? She was just as happy to see her friends again after so long, but Mickey - King Mickey, she reminded herself; things had changed quite a bit while she'd been gone - was taking this a little far.

She glanced around the throne room at everything. The food had been laid out beautifully on tables to either side of the room's main walkway (which was now a dance floor, she noticed). Two members of the Royal Guard in formal garb stood by the entrance, waving guests in as they showed their invitations, while the rest of them were inside, chatting with one another. They were probably waiting to do those routines they'd practiced all week. Musicians played in a group to either side of the thrones, providing something for the dancers to move to.

It was all a very nice show, she had to admit. Some of the more fancy things sent her back, bringing forth memories of the Castle of Dreams, and the ball they'd been hosting during her visit. Aqua couldn't help but smile. Maybe he'd gone too far, but... King Mickey certainly knew how to make a girl feel welcome.

Note: This celebration is not necessarily formal, but there will be some people in attendance donned in formal wear. The choice is up to you whether you dress formally or not. Also, feel free to talk to Aqua. She is the guest of honor, after all.

Roxas hadn't quite been able to decide if he wanted to go formal or not for this, but he ultimately settled on just making sure his clothes didn't look a wreck. His favorite shirt and jacket had been torn in whatever battle had given him the scar on his chest and his favorite jeans had a lovely bloodstain that wasn't coming out. Whether it was his blood or not, he really didn't want to know, but either way, that had left him rummaging through some of the clothes that Sora's parents had bought him. Satisfied with a pair loose fitting dark gray jeans and a short sleeved button up shirt, he'd come down to the party.

He wasn't sure he should have though. He'd been following the video game news from Earth and had seen that that video game company wasn't laying off on the stories of the Keyblade. The latest was to detail what had happened about twelve years ago and Aqua was one of the central figures in that story. Roxas wondered how much she'd been told about that, but decided not to say anything. There was another dilemma and Roxas wasn't sure how to take it. He looked like someone Aqua had known and it wasn't just a passing resemblance. Upon seeing that in the game data, he had left off any further news of it, though he wasn't entirely sure if it was because of that. He did plan to play the game anyway, but there was a possibility of getting at least part of the story right now.

So, rather than mingle, Roxas stuck with his usual habits at parties: he hung around by the tables with the food and contented himself with snacking and watching everyone else.
