Ren chuckled tiredly at Rak's suggestion. "Unfortunately, I've got too much on my plate as it is for the time being," she sighed. "Maybe once things calm down a little, I'll give it a try," she said with a smile so he'd know she was joking, too. And there wasn't any need to worry about her working until she starved to death, since she could take care of herself, really.

"Your priorities are top-notch as always," she teased, not quite realizing how easy it was to interpret that statement the wrong way, given their current relationship.
