Who: Amy, Will Vandom
What: A chat they probably should've had sooner. >_>;;
When: Tuesday night
Where: Will's apartment
Status: Complete
"Wait, so Radiant Garden what?"
Will was staring at her in disbelief, brown eyes wide as she perched on the edge of her desk chair. Amy was sitting on the bed, leaning forward as she twisted her wedding ring around her finger. She'd been thinking about what Chase had said, wondering how she could've forgotten something as important as this. Her memory sucked sometimes, sure, but...She wasn't even going to let herself think about how the Heart of Kandrakar might've helped at Radiant Garden if only she'd-
Idiot.
"Poof. Gone. That's what happens when a world falls to Darkness. The Heartless go after the Heart of a world, remember. It's why I asked about Elyon-"
She was cut off as Will jumped up and began digging through the mess on her desk, looking for the cordless phone.
"I need to call the others, we have to go to Meridian. Right now."
"You guys should keep a closer eye on Lillian too, since she's the Heart of this Earth. It might not be the same, but better safe than sorry. Maybe the Regents could do it."
The redhead paused, then turned around slowly, clutching the phone. "I never told you about that."
Whoops.
"...I told you before, I have weird dreams sometimes."
Yeah, that was going to work. But really, what was she supposed to say? 'I've been lying to you from the beginning. The Heartless aren't a legend on my world, they're from a video game, and you guys are a T.V. show'? Maybe they had been once, but now they were just as real to her as Sora or The King. Will was eyeing her suspiciously.
"About Cornelia's kid sister?"
"Look, Will-"
"Amy, you're our friend. You warned us about the Heartless, but you never told us how you knew about W.I.T.C.H. We didn't ask because Yan Lin seems to trust you. But you've been gone for months and now you know about Lillian being the Heart of Earth?"
An uncomfortable silence filled the air for several seconds before Amy looked away. Perfect. Way to foster mistrust.
"I need to get home. It's late, and Eli..." She got to her feet, grabbing her backpack off the floor.
"I didn't mean-"
"Yeah, you did, and I understand. I guess I was...it doesn't matter now. Call everybody and let them know about Elyon, and I'll meet up with you guys at the Silver Dragon tomorrow night."
Amy managed a smile close to her usual one. "Explanations forthcoming, promise."
