He really felt guilty for his own reaction now. His friend had gone through a lot. Apparently he had gone through, at the very least, five years while Peter himself had only experienced six days.
But his friend seemed to be looking forward to the prospect of eating. Definitely Lesley. Plus it was a nice change of subject. "Don't mind me, but I'm getting pancakes. I haven't eaten something decent in... six days." Damn.
