Ray glanced at Roxas worriedly. She wanted nothing more than just hug the kid apologize again, but she didn't think he'd really appreciate that. There wasn't much she could do about anything now, anyway, so she just tried to concentrate on the monsters again.
And promptly heard a roar in the distance.
She rose and turned toward the sound, staring at the shadows in the sky - they were headed right toward the group, and moving fast. It still wasn't clear exactly what the monsters were, but it definitely would be soon.
"Hope you guys are ready to stage an intervention for these monsters," she commented, putting a hand on Roxas's shoulder. "Are you gonna be okay for this?" she asked softly.
