Sora and his enthusiastic optimism were usually contagious. Often, even just know he wanted to to help you made you feel better, even if it was unlikely he could help. It was debatable whether or not things had turned out the ay they were supposed to or not, but they had at least turned out for the better... maybe too much for the better, but that was the probably part of the current problem and something they knew already.

Somehow, Roxas just knew Sora was grinning like the lovable dork he was behind those scarves. He just chuckled at that, "It stopped being predetermined when we ran out of prophecy.
