The arrival of the King shook Riku from his thoughts. He stood up straight, smiling when he heard the song he was humming; he didn't recognize the music, but the King made it sound so cheerful that it was hard for him not to enjoy it. He set the now-empty cup aside before responding.

"Oh, Merry Christmas." he replied, his eyes widening a bit at the mention of gifts. "Your Majesty, you didn't have-" Too late. Riku took the boxes, looking at them for a moment before carefully unwrapping each one.
