Song, for her part, had spent a couple hours the day before running all about with various decorations, spreading them throughout the building, adding to what had already been set up by others. And when it came to Christmas decorations, Song liked to improvise... One of her toy horses was set in front of a small ceramic sleigh that held candy. Meanwhile, a stuffed dragon perched among the branches of the tree. Similar things had been done in each public room, and Song was rather proud of herself.
Currently, though, she was curled up on on end of her favorite couch in the front room, nursing a mug of apple cider and waiting patiently for company.
