Who: Everyone who wanted to go. (Or was dragged along by their friends)
What: Day one of the field trip to Earth
When: Thursday the 10th
Where: NEW YORK CITY!
It was early in the morning when they arrived in the city.
A brisk, cold wind blew through the city, and even though the sun was shining and there were few clouds in the sky, it wasn't quite enough to cut through the cold.
Greta held her coat close to her as she surveyed the surroundings. "Soooo...," She said, "What should we do first?"

He stood on the sidewalk, his deflated brown hair falling into his eyes as he gaped up at the skyscrapers. Despite knowing about the worlds, despite having traveled across known gummi space, Manhattan made him feel very, very small.

Date: 2009-12-11 10:34 pm (UTC)What bothered him was that there were so many people. He knew real cities tended to be crowded and busy places, but he hadn't realized they could be quite this busy. Radiant Garden, even being a busy city and a center of learning, was not this crowded.
It wasn't so bad, he supposed, although... He was probably going to punch the next person that asked him if he knew he looked and/or sounded like this Jesse what's-his-name. He blamed his hair or rather, Earth's tendency to deflate naturally spiky hair, and continued to sulk about being dragged along on this little sidequest.

Date: 2009-12-11 11:10 pm (UTC)He couldn't help but snickering at Sora and Roxas's hair. True, his hair probably looked just as stupid, not to mention it was getting in his eyes.
And if it seemed like Cloud was getting some odd looks from the crowd, it probably had to do with the fact that he was still wearing his regular clothes and had a sword the size of a surfboard strapped to his back.

Date: 2009-12-13 05:53 am (UTC)The entire group was assembled, a number of refugees and Radiant Garden locals included. Sora, he was relieved to see, seemed to be dealing with the location just fine despite his experiences in Tokyo. Even asking to go on the subway...Riku wouldn't have been surprised if soon the boy started running off and getting lost. Or worse. he thought, barely holding back a sigh at the number of possibilities for trouble.
Better make sure he doesn't get introduced to coffee. he thought. Sora of all people being hyped up on caffeine would be impossible to deal with.
"We need a way to pay for it first." Riku replied, his eyes wandering over to the sword still attached to Cloud's back. That couldn't be a good idea, he realized - he knew enough around Earth to know that people generally didn't carry weapons, especially not swords. "Hey Cloud, are you sure bringing that sword along was a good idea?"
He pulled a strand of (now blond) hair out of his eyes, quickly realizing that this trip was either going to end up being fun or completely disastrous.
