In which Roxas does something stupid for the purpose of a hands on lesson in magic...
Who: Roxas and Kairi
What: Magic lessons... and possibly a little bit of sword tech
Where: Merlin's magic practice room
When: Last Wednesday, the 14th
Status: Ongoing
Roxas was kind of glad that Kairi's magic lessons were going so well. He'd been a little worried at first given what had happened the last time he'd tried to teach someone magic. But things were going well with Kairi. Since he was also mixing in some fighting technique, it made practicing the healing magic that much easier. Even friendly sparring could lead to injury.
Of course, in preparing for the lesson in Curaga, Roxas hadn't been doing any friendly sparring. What he had done was promised to meet Kairi in the magic practice room at a certain time for the lesson and then headed out for an odd job he'd applied for earlier. Said odd job involved removing a pair of drakes from a forge on the edge of town. Not fun, but it suited Roxas's purposes... maybe a little better than what he needed actually... The drakes did not go down easily and they kind of took the forge with them. All in all a messy, chaotic and rather painful battle.
So it was that he headed for the practice room, limping slightly and clutching at a wound in his side that was maybe a little worse than he'd thought at first, all the while hoping he got there before Kairi did or before anyone noticed him.
