Ren winced, tilting back on her cover by a few degrees, and read Song's message aloud for Ray's sake. She had said as much in her last voice post, but it still stung a little to have someone else think the same thing.
After letting it sink in for a few moments, she seemed to perk up a little as a thought struck her. "Hey, has anyone ever gotten Riku's thoughts on all of this?" she asked. "This is just like what happened with him and Xehanort's Heartless, isn't it?" If that were the case, then maybe there still was hope. Then again, how long had Riku been possessed?
