star market: day 4

What: Star Market, Day 4

Things are beginning to slow now, with most of the merchants a little richer and the crowds a bit poorer. The rumors have yet to die down, and a general feeling of unease can be felt from everyone present. Merchants and Security will be on full alert today so watch your actions carefully.

"Oh, thanks," she said, a little surprised. "Nice, uh, choice of wrapping, there."

Chuckling, Brandon shrugged. "It felt right."

When she opened it, Ray would find a chain made of what looked like platinum, giving off an obvious magical aura.

"A chain!" Ray chirped, grinning. She loved chains, and she had a feeling she might like this one a little more than normal ones. "What's with the magic?" she asked, looking up at him.

Grinning back Brandon said, "Here, I'll show you."

He reached for the chain, and once he had it stepped back and said, "Try and throw a Fire spell at me."

"Yes, sir," she said, giving a lazy salute and casting the spell.

The second the Fire spell came flying at Brandon he whipped the chain at it with a sharp crack.

The fireball seemed to melt away, flowing into the chain which began glowing a bright red. Snapping the chain a second time, the fireball went soaring off into the sky.
