The Saurian might have blinked at the burst of magic, but it didn't even slow down. Whether that was because it really was immune to the spell or because the spell just didn't take, Fox really didn't care. The Chocobos were fast enough to out run it.
Although glancing back and seeing the Saurian snap up a wolf that happened to run across its path was a bit unnerving...
